Misty pink feathers
combine with azure tethers.
Rocky faces peek
through the clouds.
Rainbow tinted rays
stream through
and lightly kiss
the mountain streams,
the trees all on fire,
their branches
lifting towards the dawn.
Your satin skin
takes on a golden hue
as light plays
across the bed,
through lacy veils
which shield us from the sun.
Smiling, you turn,
pink and glowing, inviting..
and I know,
that for today, there is love..
