a thousand times
in my dreams.
I have held you
in my arms...
on wintry nights,
fires blazing bright.
I have dreamed a dream
to last a lifetime,
a love,
others can only imagine.
For in my mind,
I am with you,
and
you are with me.
My heart is intractable,
holding the image of you,
tightly....so very close
until the morning comes.
And, in my heart..
there is laughter,
and a song that sings
